To get to know the island of Elba beyond the sea, you need to walk, talk, meet and eat/stop in places away from classic tourism.
The path of the lighthouses and traffic lights is made up of 6 stages, which we divide into two weekends.
Day 1
The Path of Lighthouses and Traffic Lights finally begins. Having reached Portoferraio by ferry at 7.30 am and Patresi by bus/taxi, our adventure will begin from the Punta Polveraia lighthouse, an imposing military structure built in 1909 which overlooks the Corsica Channel. After admiring the first lighthouse, we will begin to follow the path up to the village of Marciana Marina where we can put our feet in the water if we want, before setting off again climbing towards the mountain to reach the wonderful farmhouse.
Day 2
After a delicious breakfast, we follow the path until we come across a small agricultural area where we will stop. Going down towards the sea of Procchio, we follow the sea along a path to the suggestive beaches of the north coast of Biodola, Scaglieri, Forno and Viticcio, until we reach Portoferraio. Here you can admire the Forte Stella lighthouse , which is part of the Medici fortifications together with Forte Falcone and the Linguella Tower. A fascinating history links this city to the Medici and Napoleon.
Today's excursion ends with the Scoglietto lighthouse , located on the top of the islet of the same name at the entrance to the gulf of Portoferraio.
By bus/taxi we reach our second accommodation, with a typical dinner in a farmhouse.
Day 3
The third stage of our journey begins by walking along the most famous path on Elba, the GTE, in the opposite direction to what we usually do, taking us to the Montegrosso traffic light , a former control and defense point built during the Second War World-wide and now used as a private residence. Along the itinerary the view extends over all the surrounding islands of the archipelago, as well as allowing us to admire the Volterraio fortress .
From here we head towards the characteristic village of Cavo , where we will have a last hug between us and goodbye to the sea with our feet in the water!
Ferry from Cavo to Piombino at 5pm
Breakfasts and dinners included except drinks (indicate any vegetarian/vegan diets or gluten allergies/intolerances when booking)
Packed lunches to be paid by the participant, possibility to purchase lunch every morning/evening.

The booking will take place upon receipt of the signed contract and the bank transfer equal to the requested amount (50% at the time of booking, 50% within 40 days of the departure date).
