The itinerant trekking allows us to get to know the whole island between seaside villages, traditional Panigiri festival, panoramic views, etc.
Detail
Day 1 – Travel to Athens, and overnight stay in Piraeus.
Day 2 - Ferry Piraeus-Sifnos h 7.40-10.10 (purchase instructions will follow your booking) Excursion Kamares - Apollonia, the nerve centre of the island, with its typical Greek alleys, and many gold and ceramic shops (8km, 450m altitude difference +)
Giorno 3– Apollonia - Vathi, giornata ricca di bellezze. Iniziamo con una notevole salita fino al bellissimo Monastero Profitis Ilias. Discesa fino a Vathi, dove le casette sono direttamente sul mare, tanto da bagnarsi sicuramente i piedi prima di fare il bagno. (14km, 600m dislivello +)
Giorno 4- Vathi - Faros, giornata intensa! Lasciamo Vathi per raggiungere la prima tappa bagno lungo l´itinerario. Dopo una piccola sosta, ci incamminiamo verso Platy Gialos, dove mangeremo, per poi salire verso Chrissopigi, sede del panigiri. Bagno nelle sue bellissime acque adiacenti, prima di raggiungere Faros, dove dormiremo. (13km, 450m dislivello +)
Giorno 5- Faros - Artemonas, lasciamo il mare per raggiungere l´inerpicata Kastro che visiteremo prima di buttarsi nelle acque azzurre del mare. Salita ad Artemonas, piccola localitá ricca di vicoletti floreali. (8km, 400m dislivello +). Serata preparativa per andare a Chrissopigi ad assistere, partecipare ed inebriarsi di tradizioni al panigiri!
Giorno 6- Artemonas- Cheronissos (15km, 400m dislivello +, 520 -) questa tappa ci porta ad Ag. Simeon tramite un sentiero delizioso, da cui ambiremo all´arrivo a Cheronissos, un luogo magico, lontano, attraverso un tratto di strada asfaltata, fino a poco fa collegato solo via mare. Lá una bellissima spiaggia incuneata fra le rocce ci aspetta, atmosfera calma, rilassata. Ultimo tramonto insieme prima della cena greca quasi con i piedi in acqua.
Giorno 7- Ultimi sguardi a questa isola che sa conquistare, se i tempi lo consentiranno saranno previsti ultimi km a piedi in un lungo sali-scendi da Apollonia al porto di Kamares (10km).
Saluti al suo ritmo lento che ti entra nelle ossa, ai suoi colori stampati vividi nella mente, i sorrisi degli anziani, gli asini che ragliano e fanno compagnia, ed alla atmosfera di festa sempre vivida: arrivederci Sifnos!
Sifnos-Piraeus ferry 12.20pm-3.30pm (purchase instructions upon request) + departure to your home by taxi/metro/train or optional stay in Athens.
Overnight stays will be in double/triple rooms in studios.
The program is indicative. The environmental hiking guide has the right to change the program at any time for safety and logistical reasons.
Any "improvised" activities will be carried out according to possibilities, which is why they are not mentioned in the program. It is part of the beauty of traveling to this island which is a way of life more than a place.

The travel fund is calculated on past trips, is non-refundable, therefore entirely necessary, and is intended for on-site payments and travel management, to be paid to the guide upon departure.

The booking will take place upon receipt of the signed contract and the bank transfer equal to the requested amount (50% at the time of booking, 50% within 40 days of the departure date).
Cancellation by the customer can only and exclusively occur via email and is to be considered valid only if there is written confirmation.
In case of withdrawal from the contract by the traveler before departure, for any reason, even unforeseen and unexpected, a penalty will be charged. The amount of penalties is quantified as follows:

Technical trekking clothing, 30-40 l backpack for itinerant trekking (max recommended full weight 7kg), high Goretex trekking shoes, waterproof, rainproof and windproof shell, hooded sweatshirt, water bottle of at least 2 liters in total, head torch, beauty bag and all the personal essentials, beach towel, swimsuit, hat, backpack cover.
