BEE SAFE Project di Unifi
In 2024 we were partners in the Bee Safe project, funded by a National Geographic grant , aimed at researching the correlation between pollinators and microplastics.
We supported the scientific team in choosing areas with low human presence and low environmental pollution, assisted in choosing trekking itineraries on the paths to reach the sampling locations based on our knowledge of plants of interest to them, allowed travel between the islands of Capraia, Elba and Corsica by sailing boat etc.
The project continues in 2025, hoping to still be their partner.
