Exclusive stay on Pianosa, Tuscan Archipelago Park Reserve : a rare opportunity to experience the sea and nature in general far away from lights, confusion, chaos, slightly out of season. Paradise on a Tuscan island! Pianosa is accessible independently only in the small port and Cala Giovanna, while all the routes on the island are accessible exclusively with an environmental hiking guide .

Friday - Piombino, Boarding the scheduled ferry at 7:30 am for Portoferraio, meeting with the guide where we will find our shuttle bus for Marina di Campo. 10:00 am Ship to Pianosa, where we will arrive in mid-morning. Hotel accommodation, excursion to the abandoned village and its surroundings, storytelling and readings on the history of the island, excursion of about 11 km. Swim in the sea. Dinner and sharing under the stars.

Weather permitting, dinner can be held at sunset in a magical place.

Saturday – Breakfast, excursion on the eastern coast of the island to Marina del Marchese , a curious castle-like construction formerly a prison branch. Return to the heavenly beach of Cala Giovanna and time for a swim. Aperitif augestito at sunset, Dinner and night walk with sharing under the stars.

Sunday – Breakfast, excursion to the western part of the island, 5km, through the abandoned buildings of the Branches of the ancient Agricultural Penal Colony . Visits are permitted in the areas indicated by the Park; these areas may be subject to change based on environmental needs. It is impossible to dispose of waste (including cigarette butts) on the island. All waste must be taken away. On Pianosa it is forbidden to collect plant and animal organisms (marine and terrestrial), fossils, sand and other geological and archaeological finds.

Access to the island is not permitted (with the exception of the area of the former town and Cala Giovanna, the only beach where bathing is permitted) without the presence of an authorised guide (Claudia).

Smoking is banned in almost the entire island

Accommodation

Only hotel present, double/triple/multiple rooms shared between participants with en-suite bathroom.

Claudia , founder of Lasca la Randa: Environmental hiking guide qualified under the law, with a master's degree in marine biology.

An expert leader of trekking excursion groups, she particularly loves these places in the periods outside the other seasons : this is why she continues to accompany you on these adventures, full of anecdotes, stories of local people, surprises not announced in the program. She always searches for the essence of the places especially if they are islands, after all, you can see yourself in them a little.

She loves to go on long hikes, laugh, and make you think about the beauty of the slow rhythms that islands have out of season . She loves animals, and always carries food for cats and dogs she meets along the trails in her backpack !

His goal? To make the islands known and appreciated beyond the beautiful sea!

What to Keep in Mind

Booking Terms and
Cancellation

The reservation will be made upon receipt of the signed contract and the bank transfer equal to the requested amount (50% at the time of booking, 50% within 40 days of the departure date).

Cancellation by the customer can only be made via email and is considered valid only if confirmed in writing.

In case of withdrawal from the contract by the traveler before departure, for any reason, even unforeseen and supervening, a penalty will be charged. The amount of the penalties is quantified as follows:

from the day after booking up to 60 days no penalty, no refund, 100% voucher paid valid for 6 months from the departure date of the trip.
From 59 to 40 days before departure 100% penalty, no refund of the deposit, no voucher.
from 39 to 0 days before departure penalty 100% of the entire fee, no refund, no voucher.

In case of insurance policy subscription, reference will be made to the conditions in question. 10% of the travel fee will be retained for management costs.
